As a pastor I’m passionate about preaching. I believe a sermon should be more than just talk about God, or life-lessons, or “chicken soup”. A sermon should help make God real for us, and strengthen us to live the life God created us for: a life of loving God, serving our neighbor, and caring for all creation.
As we are a church that follows the seasons of the church year, I offer here some of my recent sermons organized according to the seasons of the church calendar. I hope you find what you need in these messages.
And just one note. Some of the clips below begin with a reading of the scripture passages which were read in church that Sunday. It is our practice to read (and sing) four passages of scripture, followed by the sermon. Enjoy!
