This week we’ve experienced how our peace can be shattered so suddenly. How we can go from being on the mountain one moment to deep in the valley the next. So it was for Jesus’s disciples that day they saw Jesus appear in glory. But buried at the end of this story is a detail that we might easily overlook. A detail that shines a different kind of light into the drama of this well-known gospel text.
