This Sunday is often nicknamed “Good Shepherd Sunday” due to the abundance of shepherd images in our scripture readings. In our gospel Jesus speaks some of the purist words of gospel in the whole Bible… “My sheep hear my voice… I give them eternal life… No one will snatch them out of my hand.” Maybe they are also words that speak to one of our deepest fears. Is it true that nothing snatch us out of Jesus’s hand? Let’s talk.
