Our gospel today comes right in time for summer. Complete with Jesus’s words about taking a break from all that worries and distracts us. Or is his advice striking at something deeper within us? Maybe he’s not so much exhorting us to chill out as he is asking us to focus. And maybe that holds the key to surviving through those times of worry and distraction that we can’t ever seem to avoid.
