This week we are taking a short break from the gospel of John and Jesus’s teachings about bread, and celebrating the feast day of Mary, the mother of our Lord. We are not wandering too far, though. Today’s gospel text is Mary’s song that gives glory to God who is on the side of the hungry and the poor, who has brought down the powerful and lifted up the lowly. Join us to wonder what Mary’s song means in our time.
