It’s been said that one sign of true maturity is being able to take criticism well. And so it is. But we all know that some criticism can cut a little too deep and touch nerves that we don’t ever want touched. Jesus touches one of those nerves in the people of his hometown congregation today in our gospel with nearly disastrous consequences. But for us this story can be the open door to a more mature understanding of what it means to be disciples. Join us for worship and some fruitful self-examination.
