Today we hear the story of the rich land owner whose harvest was so great that his current barns were inadequate to store all his crops. As solution, he decides to tear down his barns and build bigger ones. We call this the parable of the rich land owner. But in Jesus’ telling of this parable today, was he really speaking to us primarily about a land owner with a dilemma, or of something else altogether?
