This past Thursday was Ascension Day. The day the church commemorates Jesus’ return to heaven after his resurrection. It’s probably the least celebrated church festival on the calendar. After all, it’s hard to say goodbye. But even this day has its joy. So on this Seventh Sunday of Easter we’ll look back to give this feast it’s due.
