Today we enjoy a guest sermon from Rev. Matthew Senf, Assistant to Bishop Kathy for Ecumenical and Interfaith Relations. He preaches about homecomings. Maybe over the summer you will experience a homecoming in the form of a family reunion or a visit from seldom seen relative. I certainly hope yours goes better than the one we read about in the gospel. Then again, maybe sometimes even conflicted homecomings can bear good news.
