Life is complicated. There’s a platitude for you! But it’s true. And our gospel reading today proves it. How else do you describe a story where people swing from joy to fear and belief to doubt all in the course of a single day. Sounds like par for the course for most of us actually. And into the confusion and tension Jesus speaks a single word…”Peace”.
