It’s an age-old question: Why is there evil in the world? In the parable of the wheat and the weeds, Jesus suggests that both grow together until the harvest. Which isn’t much of a comforting or satisfying answer. But maybe it points us to where we can find our hope in the midst of a complicated and confusing world.
